Revived

Heavens kiss has come upon the earth.
The rains have poured down from above.
The blood is streaming like waterfalls down the cliffs.
Darkness stains the path it walks upon.
The ground is strewn with the lifeless men and women who once lived.
The happiness that once thrived among the villagers is now destroyed.
War came upon the land and evil destroyed everyone.
No one is left to conquer, no one is left to call victory.
The skies ache with the pains of the dead.
The emptiness stalks the atmosphere.
The sun shines down on nothing but the green grass.
No one is there to walk upon it.
The flowers and trees grow and soon the land is overgrown with a new life.
The past generations have come and are now gone.
The new land is sprung, the new land is revived.
Celebrate, creation is breathing.
Dance with the birds, with the swinging branches on the trees.
The cycle has begun once more, another fresh start.
Victory will be ours.

Take Notice

So what if he doesn’t notice me, if he’ll never love me.
I can live without his love can’t I?
Sometimes I wonder why do I care so much?
He barely knows my name, barely realizes that I exist.
Can I already have a strong attachment to him?
Is it possible to be taken in by him?
I could scream in his presence and he wouldn’t hear.

Transformation

Spread my arms, lift my head to the sky.
Move my body every way I feel the beat pulling it.
Close my eyes and feel the sensation rush over me.
It’s impossible, I’m flying.
Dancing with all my energy.
Screams rising from my lungs.
I’m let loose, no one can chain me down.
My life is now just beginning.

What is life without this dance?
You bow, you curtsy, then you begin.
Down, up, over, under, sideways, and flip your head.
Hair flying through the air, body moving up and down.
Twisting and turning it’s nothing you’ve felt before.
The monster inside is clawing to come alive.
To be let loose on the floor.
It’s not beauty, it’s insanity.
It’s nothing that can stop, once it’s begun, it’ll never end.
